INTRODUCTION
NB AgriMatrix Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or & quot;our") operates the Krusho™ digital platform ("Krusho" or "Platform"), an agri-tech solution accessible via the Krusho web application, the Krusho iOS application, and the Krusho Android application (collectively referred to as the "Services"). We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every individual who engages with our Platform.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, with whom we may share it, and the choices available to you regarding your personal data. We encourage you to read this document carefully before using our Services. By accessing or using Krusho on any supported platform — web, iOS, or Android — and by registering an account or continuing to use the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services immediately.
This Policy may be revised periodically to reflect changes in law, technology, or our operational practices. Continued use of the Services after any such revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
All registered users of the Krusho platform (farmers, agri-consultants, agri-businesses, dealers, buyers, and other participants).
Visitors who browse the Krusho web application without registering.
Partner entities, service providers, and third-party agents who interact with the Platform.
Personnel including employees, contractors, and interns of NB AgriMatrix Pvt Ltd who may handle personal data in the course of their work.
This Policy does not govern the data practices of external third-party websites, payment processors, or other entities linked to or integrated within the Platform. Users are encouraged to review those parties' independent privacy policies.
3. PERMISSIBLE AGE
The Krusho Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement, or that you have received the explicit permission of a parent or legal guardian to do so. If you are a parent or guardian who has granted a minor permission to use the Platform, you bear full responsibility for their use of the Services, including any resulting legal obligations.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that such data has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take prompt steps to delete it.
We collect information in three primary ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information obtained from third-party sources.
4.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account and Profile Information: Your full name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, gender, Aadhar number, residential or farm location (village, district, state), language preference, and a profile photograph. For businesses or dealers, this may include business name, PAN, GSTIN, and address.
Agricultural and Farm Data: Details about your farm, land holdings, crop types, sowing/harvesting calendar, soil type, water sources, and input usage. This data is the core of the Krusho service and is used to provide personalized recommendations.
Marketplace and Transaction Data: Information provided when placing orders for agri- inputs, listing produce for sale, bidding, negotiating, or transacting through the Platform, including addresses, payment preferences, and order history.
Communications: Messages exchanged between users, or between users and the Krusho support team, through in-app chat, helpline, or email. Interactions may be logged for quality, safety, and compliance purposes.
User-Generated Content: Ratings, reviews, photos, feedback, and other content submitted through the Platform that may be publicly visible.
Voluntarily Provided Information: Responses to surveys, feedback forms, promotional activities, beta-testing programs, or research studies conducted by or on behalf of NB AgriMatrix.
4.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access Krusho via any supported platform, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage data, including:
Device and Connection Information: IP address, device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), operating system and version, browser type, unique device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), mobile network details, language and time zone settings.
Usage and Activity Data: Pages or screens viewed, features accessed, search queries entered, content interacted with, time spent per session, referral source, error logs, and transaction summaries.
Location Data: With your explicit permission, we may collect GPS-based location data from your mobile device. This enables location-specific services such as nearest agri- dealers, weather advisories, and farm service providers. Location access can be revoked at any time through your device settings.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies: On the web application, we use cookies, web beacons, and similar tools to remember your preferences, maintain session state, analyze usage patterns, and improve service delivery. You may manage cookie preferences through your browser. Disabling cookies may limit certain Platform functionalities.
Application Metadata: On mobile devices, the Krusho app may access metadata associated with files stored on your device — such as photographs — when you explicitly choose to upload such files through the Platform.
4.3 Information Collected Automatically
Social and Government Sign-In: If you choose to register or log in using a third-party account (such as Google or a government portal like DigiLocker), we may receive your profile information (name, email, mobile number, identifier) as authorized by you through that service's permissions interface.
Partner Data: We may receive information about you from agri-businesses, input dealers, financial institutions, weather data providers, and other ecosystem partners who collaborate with Krusho, to the extent permissible under applicable law.
Combining Data: We reserve the right to combine information from multiple sources to maintain accurate records, personalize your experience, detect fraud, and improve our Services.
